Principal's message
It is my honour to serve as Principal of 花季传媒, a school with a remarkable history and a proud tradition of nurturing some of Australia鈥檚 finest minds since its establishment in 1849. As the oldest government high school in Australia, Fort Street has long been a beacon of academic excellence, innovation, and social conscience.
Situated on Gadigal and Wangal land in Petersham, our school community is a vibrant reflection of multicultural Australia. With approximately 920 students representing over 100 Sydney suburbs and speaking around 40 different languages, Fort Street is a harmonious and inclusive 花季传媒 that celebrates diversity and fosters tolerance and acceptance.

Ready to apply?
花季传媒 is an academically selective coeducational secondary school and does not have a local area intake.
Entry is competitive and based on academic merit. There is a maximum enrolment of 150 students in each of Years 7-10.聽 There are between 160 and 170 students in each of Years 11 and 12.
